Art Therapist Portland Oregon

Hi, I’m Celina Paul.

Celina has deep roots based in fine art, nature, community, and wellness, which led her to working with many unique teachers and institutions. Celina’s undergraduate work was in studio art, and she holds a Masters in Art Therapy from Lewis & Clark.

Celina is a Registered and Licensed Art Therapist (ATR, LAT), and a Licensed Professional Councilor (LPC).

When she is not working with clients, Celina loves creating art and spending time outdoors. On her days off, she can often be found hiking, paddle boarding, gardening, and enjoying time with loved ones.

My Approach

Celina centers her work within a strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed lens. She draws from art therapy, systems theory, attachment theory, and an awareness of intergenerational trauma to support each client’s unique needs and story. Her approach is collaborative and relational, honoring the strengths, identities, and lived experiences that children, teens, young adults, parents, guardians, teachers, and caregivers bring into the therapeutic process.
